In really nice condition the brass is bright and the blade is in great shape

The seat and pole stand are absent but could easily be replaced and fitted into the post opening which is still present for this purpose

though the twisted silver wire around the grip has come loose at one end

This is a very nice WWII McCord M1 Helmet shell which was depot refinished for use during the Korean War. The helmet is matched with a fine Westinghouse liner. The OD Green helmet cover is an early Vietnam War example and is in lovely condition, this was not an uncommon site to see in Southeast Asia in the early 1960s.
