The plaid design is actual cloth that has been hand glued to the flask. We then trim the top and bottom of the flask with a brown faux leather (polyurethane) that looks and feels like real leather without the higher costs. The polyurethane is so much like real leather that if you don't say anything about it not being real leather no one will ever know. :) The flask holds 4. 5 shots (6 ozs)
