These were made in Brooklyn, New York, as marked on the top of the single shot barrel: MOORE'S PATENT F. A. Co. BROOKLYN, N. Y. On the barrels underside is: PAT. FEB. 24 1863 along with serial number 4567. There is also assembly marking L28 on the barrel just beneath the chamber. The pistol is single shot,
