The peaked visor in this grouping is in very nice condition though the sweatband has become completely detached from the visor

ending with what appears to be Karl Keffeldt joining the regular Heer Army

Scabbards rarely survived so here is a quality Reproduction made from high grade stitched leather with brass fittings

probably from the Weimar period or maybe even the late Imperial period

The feed system used non-disintegrating belts

This is a fantastic example of an early American Colonial Spike Tomahawk. Aside from the haft being replaced, it is in immaculate condition for the age. It does not appear to have been ground dug though there is some past pitting present as well as some light oxidation. It is evident that this was an item that was cared for. Spike tomahawks (casse ttes) are thought to have originated from early ship boarding axes
