This is an extremely interesting, gorgeous British Flintlock Pistol by JOVER measuring just 11" overall with a brass blunderbuss barrel of 5. 25". Of early style with no frizzen re enforcement bar on the flash pan the lock is marked with "Crown G. R." with the Maker's name across the lock tail together with the date of 1776. An extremely unusual Pistol in that the dating of Military lock plates had essentially ceased
