This is a gorgeous Napoleonic officers saber meant for an officer of light infantry. The sword appears to be at least partially modeled after the well known P 1796 Light Dragoon saber, but with a shorter blade, and a heavier curve. In fact, this may be one of the most curved sabers we have ever offered. This example dates roughly from 1800 1805, perfect for issue during the Napoleonic Wars or at Waterloo. The saber
