This is a very nice genuine WWII U. S. Army M4 Carbine bayonet fighting knife, with an original M8A1 scabbard. Nicely marked U. S. M4 UTICA on the blade side of the hand guard for the Utica Cutlery Co. The blade is in good condition, but shows some heavy wear from wartime usage. It has a slightly worn gray patina, and may have been sharpened at one point. The crossguard, handle, and pommel are all tight to the blade.
