This is an excellent condition Imperial German Pioneer Officer Visor hat (schirmmtze) constructed of grey wool with black wool band and black piping along with metal cockades and interior lining. The interior is marked to maker Edward Sachs, and apparently there was something someone anted to cut out beneath the maker name so, there is a cut hole approximately 1" long by . 4" wide in the lining. Size is approximately
