and night landings

and later the Bundeswehr's MG 3

The original leather blade washer is still intact and the brass hand guard exhibits a nice patina and has not been cleaned nor has this sword ever been taken apart

Light braided officer band with a lovely dark brown officer hat badge. No manufacturer markings found, but it is initial OLE over 450. Size is 7 and cap still retains the original size label and celluloid diamond. Quality officer visor hats such as this are always useful for a Great War Collection.
