The front of this helmet reads:

There also is a PA stamped over the breech of the barrel

though it does have a bit of the "saddle form" shape everyone loves

The helmet still has all four of the original hollow rivets

The helmet shell came to us as being attributed to Edward Canterack I of Oberlyn, Pennsylvania. We did a quick search to see what we can find on Canterack, but unfortunately we came up short handed, making this a wonderful research
