This particular example was manufactured by the PAL Cutlery Company and is clearly marked on one side of the blade: RH – PAL MADE IN USA – 35 and U

There is even still the "rainbow" color created from heat when the blade was originally cut

which would have increased the accuracy

It has been very nicely matted and glazed in a lovely frame

These well made signal pistols were produced in rather limited numbers but saw use throughout WWII
