This is a very good condition, field used example of a bipod for the U. S. Browning M1918A2 Machine gun, as used by U. S. forces during WWI and WWII. This design fits over a spacer at the muzzle of the gun, and is held in place by a barrel nut and tension washer. Overall condition is very good, showing wear to the finish from service, and signs of past oxidation, now cleaned away. Both legs lock in properly, all wing
