We very rarely see these, the sword itself is not really hard to find, but generally always comes with an all steel scabbard with the characteristic two loops one for each side. This particular sword, made and marked on the blade WILKINSON, LONDON and dated 1901 comes complete with the original well marked leather covered scabbard. The sword is the Pattern of 1899 (P 1899) and the blade is marked "01" (1901) and the
