Mounted on a 25 1 2" linen covered wooden haft, this Indian War Axe has a truly wicked head! It has a rounded cutting edge measuring 8 1 4" in diameter and on the reverse the most menacing curved spike that could penetrate armor and chain mail, measuring 3 1 2" in length. This is definitely not something designed just for show. The entire crescent moon shaped head is decorated with fairly primitive line engravings,
