Here we have a very nice Cap Eagle, cut off from a German WWII Army M43 Field cap (Heer M43 Feldmtze) or possibly an M38 cap. The insignia are sewn onto a field gray (feldgrau) wool cap section, which has the center seam from the front of the cap.
