One of a Kind. This is an outstanding artifact from the First World War, a U. S. Navy Flat Hat with a cap talley for the Armored Cruiser USS San Diego. On July 19th, 1918, the San Diego struck a mine laid by Imperial German U Boat U 156, leading to its sinking and the loss of six lives.
