This is a nice example of a Japanese Barometer set, as would be used on Airplanes or in the field to help determine weather patterns. It has two glass measuring instruments in black bakelite housings. These are contained in a fully marked wooden case, which has a very nice data plate on the inside, as well as an inspection mark.
