It was produced from 1911-1916

Original British WWII Custom Brass Knuckle Duster Trench Spike Knife U.S. Military Maps The Mk II was standardizedOriginal Item: One of a kind. This appears to have started life as a U. S. pattern 1918 fighting knife, most likely a French AU LION style of manufacture. The brass grip and knuckle guard is retained but it was mounted on an SMLE number 4 spike bayonet and it is contained in a spike bayonet scabbard with web frog. The Brass grip is Broad Arrow marked on both sides. Overall a very interesting unique fitting knife, that appears to be a converted custom
