This is a very worn inert demilitarized genuine Japanese Type 97 Hand Grenade. This heavily pitted example is offered in very rough condition with the fuze housing retained, but the cover, pin and pull string are long gone. The fuze is still attached to the screw off top, which can be removed to inspect the interior, but the detonator tube is gone. This example is completely inert and is in compliance with the
