In keeping with this year’s Costume Institute exhibition, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style the Met Gala dress code will be “Tailored for You.” Of course, most Met Gala looks are either bespoke or custom fit to the star who walk the museum steps in them, but considering that this year’s exhibition is its first in more than 20 years to focus on menswear, not to mention it’s first ever to exclusively feature Black designers, it seems likely that many stars will take a cue from the broader idea of suiting and “Black dandyism” that serves as one of the exhibits key concepts
