Dark, rich oak wood meets cognac and whisky barrel booze, threaded with woodsmoke, sweet vanilla and a nutty chestnut warmth. A balsamic sweetness rounds the whole thing off. Because of the sweetness, it is an excellent base to add a touch of smoke without dominating as easily as you can with Birch and Cade. A touch will ground woody, leather and oriental accords in aged barrel warmth,
