Like the Rugiens this youthfully austere effort is not blessed with outstanding mid-palate density but it’s wellbalanced and harmonious and should age effortlessly yet be approachable after only 5 to 7 years if desired

Bouchard Pere et Fils, Echezeaux Size:3x750ml white flowers(from a Domaine owned parcel in En Orveaux). Here the wood is a bit more modulated though still easily visible on the otherwise fresh, spicy and ripe red berry fruit liqueur like aromas. There is a cool and refined mouth feel to the delicious medium bodied flavors that possess a dusty and lightly mineral driven finish. This moderately structured effort could be enjoyed young or aged to good effect if desired. (91 93) 2024+
