Just hang it over the fence and set full pail into holder. Quarter inch steel wire is powder coated for rust protection. Inside diameter of holder is 9. 75" and will accomodate most pails up to 10 quart size including the recommended Dare 10 qt. poly pail. This holder has narrow bracket for mounting on wire fence and holds one pail. (Shown with 10 quart pail that is not
