63 ha parcel on the Morey side where the soil is more white than red

It is aged in around 40% new oak with a slightly lighter toast than previous vintages

Deeper and a little richer on the nose than the Rennina and more genuine

but it is relatively fine and should age well on its balance

The silky, sensuous texture is the perfect back drop for all the ripe, luscious, sweet, plums, chocolate, flowers and earthy flavors that are all over the place here. This is pure hedonism. While it is difficult to find, Pomerol fans should be all over this wine.
