the 2016 Adrianna Vineyard River Stones was bottled a little earlier
Floral overtones add lift through to the finish
Noticeable oak on the palate but with lovely freshness too
earth and soft but perceptible wood influence
This is not an elegant Corton-Charlemagne but it is seriously impressive nonetheless
Yves Cuilleron, Cote Rotie Lieu Dit Bonnivieres Vintage:2021 the 2016 Adrianna Vineyard RiverDarker red and black cherries, iron, ozone, smoked meats, crushed stone, and dark chocolate all emerge from the 2022 Cte Rtie Lieu Dit Bonnivires, another brilliant 2022 from Yves. I love the balance and purity here. It has a concentrated mid palate, ripe, polished tannins, and serious depth. The tannin quality is absolutely terrific. Hide bottles for 4 5 years and enjoy over the following 15+. Drink 2030 2045.
