You can remove the ball easily and use it to grab or puncture something you want to retrieve

Each hub has a 1” hollow shaft with ¼” keyway and through bolt to slip it right over the 1” shaft of the hydraulic root cutter and lock it in place

there is a 3” gap that will allow you to insert your sewer hose or TV cable into the opening and then you can slide it to close

The spear head is made of Hard 4130 steel and heat treated to 55 Rockwell on the C scale. Diameter is 1 7 8 for the 2 model and 3. 5 for the 4 model. Available for 5 16 and 3 8 rods.
