W. Franklin. R. A.), Tatty original ribbons. very fine. William Franklin was born at Walthamstow, Essex in 1888 and served with the 83rd Company of the Boys Brigade before enlisting with the Royal Artillery on 16 November 1908. Embodied for service on 5 August 1914 as a Corporal Franklin entered the war
