Papua New Guinea Large Flag 150x90cm BDU - Colour: OliveDesigned by a 15 year old school girl, this flag is a colourful representation of Papua New Guineas history. In the hoist we see the Southern Cross, in the fly the silhouette of a raggiana bird of paradise all set against a black and red background. Red and black have long been traditional colours of Papua New Guinea tribes and are also reminiscent of the countrys time under the German Empire prior to 1918. Prior to 1970, Papua new Guinea was known as
