According to one of our collector amigos, this would have been a pair made within a Levis factory but not by Levis themselves. Maybe an employee making themselves a pair, or maybe someone just goofing around with some extra material! Either way, your gain! Selvedge five pocket construction, button fly with some weirdo red bar tacking throughout for
