Granville Dundee Hills Pinot Noir Dux Vineyard 2024 PET-NAT Small plots of vines plantedSix acres on a knoll nobody's heard of, tucked behind a peak that blocks the cold Pacific wind the rest of Oregon takes on the chin. That's Dux a small, low lying Dundee Hills site at around 450 feet, planted in 2011 in classic red Jory soil, sheltered from the Van Duzer Corridor gusts by the hill just to its south. Less wind stress means gentler, more even ripening, and the Pinot that comes off it is perfumed and poised rather than muscular. Jackson
